The Premiership title returned today in Manchester as Man U completed their last game of the season against West Ham. The guest won 1 to nothing an booked one of the last spots in nest years Premiership season. The Hammers saved a bad season with todays win. Wigan Athletic also managed to remain for one more year in the first english division and relegated Sheffield United at the end of a breath taking game.
After staying 2 consecutive years in London the English League Trophy returned today in Manchester. Other prizes where awarded to Cristiano Ronaldo (Barclays Player of the Season), Sir Alex Ferguson was named (Barclays Premiership Manager of the Season) and Ryan Giggs (Barclays Premiership Merit Award). The Reds still have one more FA Cup final to play against Chelsea. Will they defeat the Londoners for this trophy also?
The moments prior to the Premiership Trophy award presented us some very happy fans on Old Tradford today. A big banner with the Trophy printed all over it and containing the phrase “Take me home” was carried by tousands of fans all around the stadium. In the mean time the officials played on the stadiums speaker hits like: Simply the best by Tina Turner and “Country roads”- John Denver.
