Dramatic game in Copenhagen tonight, with an incredible finish. Denmark came back and equaled to a 3-3 draw against Sweden in the qualifier match agains Sweden. The game was counting for the Euro 2008 Group F qualifying round. This is not the official result because one minute from time a fan attacked referee Herbert Fandel.
The final result will be announced after a UEFA diciplinary commitee will issue and official decision.
Some media sources published in advance that Sweden had been awarded the victory with 3-0, but we will have to wait for UEFA’s official decision.
The problems started with Christian Poulsen’s sent off in the final game moments. He stroke a swedish player in the penalty area. Fandel decided for a penalty kick, bu before the execution a fan entered the pitch and struck the german referee. The man who whisled wednesday’s Champions League final between AC Milan and Liverpool ended the game immediately and left the pitch.
Match history
The guests went into an unbelievable 3-0 lead after only 26 minutes into the game after two Johan Elmander goals and a 30 meter free kick goal by Petter Hansson. But as we know football is an unpredictable game that ends only when the referee blows the final whisle. So Denmark managed to come back and leveled the game 3-3, 15 minutes from time. Daniel Agger, Jon Dahl Tomasson and substitute Leon Andreasen where the goal scorers.

Hmmm some fans are real stupid….he just helped his team to lose 3 to nothing. I can’t imagine that this things still happen. This remembers of that guy stabing top tennis player Monica Seles in the nineties!!!

I just read about some reactions after the incident. As expected everyone is mad about that fan especially the danish opinion because it will for sure bring them a 0-3 defeat and perhaps also some matches on neutral ground.
He also said that he doesn’t remember a thing about his actions on the pitch. Yeah right…. 
It seems that the attacker declared that he had consumed before and during the game 20 cans of beer.
