Aggressive Romanian fan tries to hit the Charleroi goalkeeper

Friday July the 20th the Romanian club team Steaua Bucharest played a friendly game against the Belgium side Charleroi in Bucharest. The event celebrated Steaua’s squad presentation for the 2007-2008 season in front of 15,000 fans.
But the show had it’s dark side as a stupid fan entered the pitch and tried to hit the goalkeeper of Charleroi as you can see in the video below:
Such events on a football pitch are intolerable and have to be punished very severely in order to exterminate them. I will never agree which such reactions especially in a friendly game. The video shows how other hooligans jump to save their member while stewards and police forces try to calm the situation. I guess that nobody was prepared for such an action in a friendly game. Hopefully we won’t see more similar actions.
