The 2007-2008 Juventus football kit is displayed in the nearby images. It is painted with the traditional black and white Juventus colors and has white and black stripes designed on it. The face of the shirt has the clubs logo and the Nike badge placed on the sides, while the sponsor’s logo is printed in the central part of the shirt. The kit has quite thin stripes which creates a large number of stripes. I personaly don’t like the design to much. The sponsor’s logo is yellow and just looks quite bad havig also a blue colored footer. This counts the 4th color on the shirt: black, white, yellow and blue which don’t exactly fit that nice. The back side of the new Juventus football shirt has the name and numbers painted with red summing up a number of 5 colors used for the strip. The red typing idea is not bad as it looks pretty good from my point of view. The thin stripes and the front of the shirt are not that nice tough. |

Recently Uefa has announced the price money distribution for the teams involved in the 2006-2007 Champions League season. Below you have the table with the complete reward list. The table is split in two main columns the Group Matches and the Final Phase.
According to the Champions League rules 32 team have started the 2006-2007 Uefa organised tournament. Each team has received 3.000.000 euros for reaching the Group Phase plus another 2.400.000 million euros for playing the whole six games of this stage. Next it has been added the Performance Bonus which valued at around 250.000 euros. The last financial bonus which resulted in the final amount was the Market Pool which was decided by Uefa depending on each teams market share. [click to continue…]

Even without some top stars, Brazil still won its second straight Copa America title.
It was a bitter pill for Argentina who lost on penalties to the same opponents in the 2004 final and were favourites this time against a Brazil side missing Kaka and Ronaldinho, who asked to be rested.
For the coach, Dunga, it was personal vindication after he had been criticised throughout the tournament for adopting a pragmatic playing approach which was perceived as alien to Brazil’s traditional reliance on attacking flair.
“We came to rescue the self-esteem of the Brazilian worker, who wakes up in the morning and returns home late at night, whose only satisfaction in life is seeing Brazil win a football match,” Dunga said.

Omar Bravo and Andres Guardado scored unanswered goals as Mexico overcame an early deficit thanks to a man advantage over the final 55 minutes to defeat Uruguay in the third-place match of the Copa America on Saturday.
Sebastian Abreu gave Uruguay a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute, but teammate Diego Alfredo Lugano was shown a red card for a foul in the box in the 36th minute.
