The Euro 2008 Qualifiers schedule today, Wednesday the 22nd August, another important match day. Today’s fixtures include games from the groups A, D, E and F. I will present you the matches and the Euro 2008 group standings at this moment.

Euro 2008 Qualifiers Preview - Group A
Group A is a crowded place today. With three scheduled matches it is the most active group of today’s qualifying fixtures. Poland, the leaders, won’t play today while Serbia and Portugal have the chance to close the gap to the leaders. Both teams have two matches less than Poland and will play today in away locations. Portugal should win in Armenia and Serbia will have a tough mission in Belgium.

Euro 2008 Qualifiers Preview - Group D
Group D is not that busy today. It will host only one Euro 2008 qualifying game between the last two placed teams of the group, San Marino vs. Cyprus. Leaders remain Germany.

Euro 2008 Qualifiers Preview - Group E
Group E is similar to group D. Last two teams of the standings will face each other today, with Croatia leading the group. It’s a group where four teams are differenced by only three points: Croatia, Israel, Russia and England.

Euro 2008 Qualifiers Preview - Group F
Northern Ireland and Liechtenstein will face each other this evening in a match scheduled for the Group F, Euro 2008 Qualifiers. This Qualifying group is dominated by Sweden and Spain.
