Real Madrid has obtained and important win tonight against German side Werder Bremen, in a game counting for the Champions League group C. The hosts won 2-1 after a balanced game. Werder left the sensation that they could win in Madrid but they couldn’t profit from the spaces in Real Madrid’s defence.
Raul Madrid has opened the score for the hosts quite early in the game but Werder equalized very fast after two minutes. After that the game showed an attacking home side and a dangerous Bremen lead by Brazilian Diego.
Ruud van Nistelrooy scored the winning goal for Real late in the 74th minute and pleased the Spanish fans.
