Beckham returns as LA Galaxy draws with New York Red Bulls. The English superstar has recently recovered from an injury that kept him away of the pitch for several weeks. David Beckham missed because of this England’s Euro 2008 qualifying games and also all his club team matches played in this period.
Beckham played around 20 minutes last night after a seven weeks break. His knee seemed to be ok and also his light fresh injured ankle. Becks delivered a few nice long balls for his team but LA Galaxy had to settle with a draw.
The English star should be available for this weekends clash with Chicago, a game that will end the regular season for LA Galaxy, we will see wich way though. Frank Yallop, Becks coach, had this reaction if David will play on Sunday again:
“We’ll see. I`ll make that decision on Saturday or Sunday depending on the situation.”
