Sevilla was upset by Mallorca last night in a match counting for the La Liga season. The 2006 and 2007 Uefa Cup defending Champions seem not able to repeat last season’s great run and can’t find their pace in the domestic league.
Mallorca scored twice and the half time score was 2 - 0 for the visitors. Kanoute pulled one back for Sevilla but this was not enough. It was Mallorca’s night and also Varela’s who scored a beautiful goal.
