Liverpool 4 - 1 Portsmouth - Highlights

Liverpool defeats Portsmouth in style and obtain 3 important points in their Premier League collection for this season. Fernando Torres was the hero of the day for Liverpool with two goals scored and forcing and Portsmouth defender to score an own goal. All this came after Benayoun opened the score with a volley shot from the edge of the box in the lucky 13th minute.
Portsmouth scored their consolation goal in the 57th minute, Mwaruwari was noted down as the goalscorer. An attendance of 43071 followed this game from the stands at the Anfield Road and where happy to see their favorites closing down on Manchester City and Chelsea in the standings.
