Liverpool proved today that they will fight until the end for the Premier League title. Rafa Benitez’s side obtained today another hard worked win against last placed Derby County in an away game. Fernando Torres opened the score with a superb goal after dribbling his opponents. But Derby had the power to fight back and McEveley equalized in the 67th minute.
The captain, Steven Gerard, saved the three points for Liverpool with a superb run and a hard worked rebound goal, in the last minute of the game. The Cormorants are now 4th in the standings, 9 points behind leaders Manchester United, and have also a match less played. Watch the highlights in the embedded videos.
