0 - 1 Wayne Rooney opens the score for Man Utd with a nice shot from inside of the box.
Manchester United win in style their away game against Sunderland and move again on a temporarly Premier League top spot, at least until Arsenal finish their game tonight. The Red Devils showed some superb football in this second Christmas day. Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Louis Saha played Santa Claus’ role this afternoon, each of them scoring great goals.
Rooney started the party in the 20th minute. Ten minutes laters he sent an assist for Saha. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a superb free kick goal just before halftime. Sunderland had no reply and Manchester United closed the scoreboard at 4 - 0 with Saha scoring again, from the penalty spot, this time.
Alex Ferguson’s side has managed to overtake Arsenal at the goal-difference count, no let’s see if they will manage to stay in front also with the points count. Will update this later on as I will provide the highlights for Arsenal’s game against Portsmouth.
