Tottenham Hotspur 5 - 1 Fulham - Highlights
Tottenham demolish Fulham with a categoric 5 - 1 win and register their 4th home win this season. Juande Ramos has reasons to be satisfied with his team, as the Spurs have shown some superb football yesterday afternoon.
Robbie Keane opened the score with a rebound goal. It was the 27th minute and Tottenham where dominating the game. Almost 21-year-old Huddelstone scored just before halftime and doubled Tottenham’s lead. It was a great long range goal.
Fulham pulled one back, within an hour of play, Dempsey was the goalscorer. It is a controversial goal though. The referee did not signal an obvious offside position. Tottenham restablished their 2 goal advantage 2 minutes later with another Robbie Keane goal. Again, Berbatov sent a header and Keane made it sure that the ball will pass the goal-line.
Youngster Huddelstone scored his second of the day, a similar goal to it’s first half one, this time he did it with his right foot. Superb goal, I might add.
Two minutes from time Fulham’s substitute Volz, managed to receive his second booking of the half wich resulted in a sent-off.
Jermaine Defoe set the final score after a Huddelstone assist. You can watch all the above events in the embedded video. Tottenham are still in the second part of the Premier League table while Fulham rank in the red zone.
