Sevilla 4 - 3 Denia - Highlights
Sevilla defeats Denia in a spectacular Copa del Rey encounter played yesterday. The 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cup winners have just eliminated Denia from the competition after a hard fought battle. If we have a small memory exercise we will discover that the first leg result was 1 - 1.
The game started very good for Sevilla and by the 26th minute Fabiano and Fazio where already registered on the scoreboard. This was also the halftime score. This was the moment when Denia turned the game and scored three times in a row within 30 minutes. By the 88th minute Chevanton managed to equalize but the score was favorable for Denia, who scored more goals as the away team.
Kanoute scored the qualifying goal for Sevilla in the last minute of the game from the penalty kick and saved the day for the home team. Sevilla have a poor domestic season. Their only good point until now remains the Champions League campaign.
