1 - 0 Samuel Eto’o keeps his cool and scores his third goal from the penalty spot in this CAN 2008 edition.
Cameroon demolish Sudan with 3-0 in their last match of the Group C of the African Cup of Nations 2008. The Indomitable Lions finish the group stage on the second place with 6 points. Their first round defeat agains Egypt prevented Cameroon from winning the group and meeting a weaker opponent in the quarter-finals.
Samuel Eto’o scored again for his country, twice tonight, as he did in the first match-day against Egypt. So, he reached 5 goals and is the goalscorer of the tournament at the moment. It’s also true that he scored 3 out of the 5 goals from the penalty spot.
Barcelona’s striker opened the score in the 27th minute and closed the scoreboard in the last moments of the match. Khider scored an own goal in the mean time so the final score reached the 3-0 level.
Cameroon will meet in the next round the winners of the Group D, while Sudan exit the competition for the last spot of the group with 0 points registered. Watch the highlights in the embedded videos.
