Egypt 1 - 1 Zambia Highlights
1 - 0 Amr Hasan Zaky scores the first goal of the game with a superb volley from around 11 meters.
Egypt win the group C after this draw against Zambia. A point is all what they needed in order to assure their top spot of the group. This allows them to play in the quarter-finals against the second placed team in the Group D.
Zaky obtained an early lead for the Egyptians in the 15th minute after a superb execution, a one-touch volley from inside of the box after a nice cross. This was also the halftime score and it looked as Egypt would win the game by the narrowest of margins possible. Katongo equalized though in the 87th minute for Zambia with a powerful shot from inside of the box, after dribbling an opponent.
Zambia made a nice impression in this tournament and their 4 points gathered are enough only for the 3rd place. To bad that they had to face such strong opponents like Egypt and Cameroon. I am sure that if Zambia would have played in any of the other 3 groups they would have qualified for the quarter-finals.
