Chelsea vs Liverpool - Highlights

Chelsea - Liverpool is the derby of the 26th Premier League round. Things have changed since their meeting at the Anfield Road in late August 2007, in their first game of this 2007-2008 Premier League season. Chelsea was the team suffering at that time, while Liverpool where leading the table and where the favorites. This means that the 1 - 1 draw at the end of the game was a positive one only for the Blues. Fernando Torres scored for Liverpool in the first half while Chelsea equalized from a questionable penalty kick.
Today things are different, Chelsea is stronger as The Cormorants, this is what the Premier League table says and also the recent form of the 2 sides. The Blues are third in the standings only 6 points away from leaders Arsenal, while Liverpool rank 6th, 11 points down the road.
Considering this, as a betting tip, Rafael Benitez’s side should be consider themselves lucky if they get a draw at the Stamford Bridge this afternoon, while Chelsea will surly aim for the win in order to apply some pressure on the EPL leaders. But I am tipping more in favor of a draw, just to restore the balance.
Almost forgot to mention that the 2 clubs also played in December last year for the Carling Cup and Chelsea won with 2 - 0, but this is not so relevant as teams put a different weight on secondary competition, it’s a starting point though.
