Ronaldo sent a great cross for Wayner Rooney’s opening goal. A Nani assist led to Cristiano Ronaldo’s 45th minute goal. Same Ronaldo scored his second game in the 56th minute, after a great run. He was substituted after that by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Newcastle United scored their consolation goal, Diagne-Faye was noted down as the scorer. Wayne Rooney with his second goal of the night and fresh substituted Louis Saha completed the scoreboard.
