Fiorentina obtained a precious win a few minutes ago, in the UEFA Cup, against Everton. The Italian side won 2-0 at the Artemio Franchi after two late goals signed by Kuzmanovic and Montolivo. It was a balanced game, both teams sharing the ball for an equal amount of time. Fiorentina had the better finish though and took a serious bid for advancing to the UEFA Cup quarterfinals after this home win.
Everton should not be neglected though. The English side is powerful and it’s within their power to turn the faith of this UEFA Cup battle in the second leg. This clash is still open, but Fiorentina are now favorites for advancing to the next round.
