1-0 Daniel Cousin opens the score for Glasgow Rangers after a cannon-ball shot from long range. Tim Wiese makes also a stupid goalkeeping mistake and slips the ball into the net.
Glasgow Rangers obtain a very important win tonight at the Ibrox Stadium. Werder Bremen where the victims in a great UEFA Cup night for Ranger’s fans. Daniel Cousin opened the score in the 45th minute for the home side with a cannon-ball long range shot. Werder’s keeper, Tim Wiese, played a heavy role in this goal as he tried to save the ball, but only managed to bounce it into the back of the net.
Werder Bremen couldn’t recover even after the halftime break and conceded another goal just three minutes after the break. Steven Davies nailed a rebound in the back of the net after Time Wiese bounced wrongly another Cousin shot in front of the goal.
The match ends 2-0 for Rangers and Weder Bremen will try to recover the handicap in the second leg in Germany. Watch both goals in the next video highlights.
