Shock in Sevilla tonight as Real Betis upset a 2-0 leading Barcelona team. The Catalans are at the ground level with their moral after another blow in the La Liga. Frank Rijkard’s squad lost 3-2 against Betis after a dramatic encounter. Bojan Krkic opened the score for the Catalans with a shot from inside of the box after a rebound. By the 16th minute the visitors where already 2-0 up as Samuel Eto’o added his name on the scoreboard with a nice header.
The second half started in the same note and Barca where looking to close the gap down to a point on La Liga leaders Real Madrid. But Betis Sevilla managed a dramatic comeback and scored three times to keep all three points in Sevilla. Edu pulled one back, just before he missed a penalty kick, or better said Valdes saved it. Juanito equalized one minute later and by the 78th minute Barcelona saw themselves one goal down on the scoreboard, after Edu’s miss.
