    Real Madrid 3 - 1 Sevilla Video Highlights
    1-0 Gabriel Heinze heads the ball into the net after a Wesley Sneijder free kick cross.

    Real Madrid rebuild their La Liga lead after this 30th match-day. The leaders have won at the Santiago Bernabeu 3-1 against Sevilla and are now 6 points clear of second placed Villarreal, with Barcelona only 3rd, 7 points behind. There are 8 games left to play from this 2007-08 season.

    Heinze scored his first La Liga goal of the season in the 8th minute. Kanoute equalized for Sevilla just before Raul scored the 2-1 goal. This happened all before the halftime. Higuain’s goal in the 65th minute cleared the things out.

    3-1 Higuain sets the final score with a diving shot after a speedy counter-attack.

    Real Madrid have some important missed chances.

      Great win For Real and the title is surely theirs again this year. Read somewhere that thats now 17 assists for Guti this season, and that raul has now got 290 goals for Real. Amazing stuff.

      Also watched Villarreal beat Athletico 3-0 to move into second. Manuel Pellegrini has to be the most underrated manager in Europe. He’s lost the team’s two biggest name players (Riquelme and Forlan) yet Villarreal look better for it. He has built Villarreal into a wonderfully compact, ball-on-the-floor attacking side without big names or big budgets, just a good mix of youth and experience. I’m surprised his name hasn’t been linked with bigger clubs in Europe over the past few years.
