1-0 Franck Ribery opens the score for England from the penalty spot.

The shock of the evening was won by France. Superb crowd at the Stade de France tonight. Everyone cheered for it’s favorites and the game seemed to resemble to a World Cup or European Championship final. The rivalry between France and England made this international friendly to look like an official game. Frank Ribery scored the only goal of the game from the penalty kick obtained by Nicholas Anelka. 0-1 Karagounis opens the score for Greece with a perfect free kick shot.

It’s settled. Portugal have the Greece weakness. Otto Rehhagel’s side has defeated again Portugal in an away game, as they did 4 years ago at the EURO 2004, to win the tournament. Karagounis was the night’s hero for the Greek side with two superb free kick goals. He scored one goal in each half, both of them unreachable for Portugal’s keeper.
