AS Roma 0 - 2 Manchester United Highlights
0-1 Cristiano Ronaldo sends an imperial header after a Paul Scholes cross.
Manchester United confirmed the expectations and pulled out a great performance in Roma tonight. Alex Ferguson’s boys won 2-0 after two goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. Each goal came in a half. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the score after a great Man Utd attack and a superb Paul Scholes cross. Ronaldo jumped imperially and sent a powerful header into the back of the net.
AS Roma tried to find the equalizer and got a few chances, but they where either saved by van der Sar or missed by the Italian players. Wayne Rooney doubled United’s win from close range, after a Park assist and a defensive blunder in Roma’s box. Cristiano Ronaldo was also stopped once from an one-on-one situation with Roma’s keeper by the referee, because an offside decision, a questionable one. United prepare themselves for the Champions League semi-finals!
