0-1 Boja Krkic opens the score for Barcelona with a rebound goal.
Barcelona managed to win in Germany tonight after a dramatic game at the Veltins Arena. Bojan Krkic scored the only goal of the game in the 11th minute and the Catalans where the better side in the first part of the game. As usual Frank Rijkard’s team dropped a gear in the second half and Schalke dominated the game. The home side had a few important scoring chances but the goal didn’t came.
Schalke are still in this Champions League double leg, with real chances from my point of view as Barcelona are obviously struggling and can be defeated even at the Camp Nou. The home side registered tonight 20 shots towards Barca’s goal, 7 of them of target, while the visitors had a 6/6 performance.
