Roma defeat Catania in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals. Francesco Totti was Roma’s hero with a superb 47th minute goal. The captain scored with a long range shot, sent just under the crossbar unreachable for Catania’s keeper. He proved again the famous Roma fan’s quote: ‘No Totti, no party‘, as Roma’s number 10 came back on the pitch from an injury to score the only goal of the game.
