Barcelona and Manchester United played for a goalless draw at the Camp Nou tonight. The second Champions League semi-final showed a dominating Catalan side and why not a superior Spanish side during the 90 minutes played. Alex Ferguson’s side preferred to defend and after that to try to score.
As expected in my article that previewed this game, Barcelona where saved by Lionel Messi’s return. To bad that Frank Rijkard committed a big tactical error as he decided to switch out the Argentinian super star with youngster Bojan Krkic who couldn’t cope with the pressure and did not assume any responsibilities in Barca’s second half game. Lionel Messi signaled that he can keep playing but the switch was still made and the Argentinian player showed his disapproval for Rijkard’s decision. And the end of the game proved him right.
The game started perfectly for the Red Devils. Milito commits a stupid hand-ball in his own box, but Cristiano Ronaldo misses the penalty kick. with a wide shot. Barca powered by Lionel Messi start a series of attacks towards the English goal. Samuel Eto’o was the main danger. The home side had an overall 64% ball possession, which is impressive against a team like Manchester United.
The second half show United satsifed with a goalles draw. Barca kept attacking. Samuel Eto’o had a huge scoring chance after a superb combination. Thierry Henry was switched in in the last 15 minutes and he had a dangerous shot bounced by Van der Sar. The highlights are available in the next videos.

In my opinion it was a poor match. Maybe they improve next week…
Well i was proud at my catalan barcelona for what they did yesterday at nou camp they have played very well. I like the way they handle man united if we continue the same way or we increased it just 100% it well better.
But i was predit that inside nou camp barka will give man united 1-0 but you see they draw the game. Let man united know that inside old trafford we will show them that we know what we can so until next week Baba
