Chelsea manage to defeat Manchester United after a great match at the Stamford Bridge and are now tied with the Red Devils on the first Premier League spot. Michael Ballack opened the score in the added time of the first half with a good placed header after a Didier Drogba cross. The goal was a confirmation of Chelsea’s superiority in the first half.
Man Utd raced for the equalizer and the 1-1 goal came when nobody expected. A huge Chelsea defensive error left Wayne Ronney alone with Peter Chech and the United striker finished the run in style. At this score United where almost sure of defending their Pemier League title.
Michael Ballack scored his second goal of the day. This time he sent the ball into the net from the penalty spot, to send the EPL title battle for a thriller finish.
