Zenit St. Petersburg 4 - 0 Bayern Munich Highlights
First half highlights, including the first two goals of the match scored by Pogrebnyak and Zyrianov.

Zenit St. Petersburg produce the upset of the week in the European Cups. A category 4-0 home win, against the Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich, sends them in the final at the City of Manchester Stadium. I was expecting the Russian site to qualify for the final, but honestly I wasn’t expecting such a humiliating defeat for Bayern.

Zenit opened the score lightning fast in the 4th minute as Pogrebnyak scored from a set piece, just after a huge Miroslav Klose miss. Bayern started attacking but did not manage to get the equalizer. Zyrianov doubled the lead for Zenit after a superb run and a nice shot that beat Kahn.

The second half brought another two goals for the home side. Fayzulin and Pogrebnyak once again signed for a historic win for Zenit and a humiliating defeat for Bayern. Watch the highlights in the embedded videos.

3-0 Viktor Fayzulin heads the ball powerfully under the crossbar, no chance for Oliver Kahn.

4-0 Pavel Pogrebnyak - another superb race on the left flank produces a perfect pass for Pavel Pogrebnyak, who scores in style and sets the final score.
