Today I got an email from a regular reader (FrankieBhoy67), he said he is a Glasgow Celtic season ticket holder. He said he had two tickets for the UEFA cup final which is next week, between Celtics’ arch rivals Glasgow Rangers, and Zenit St Petersburg of Russia. He included the image of his tickets (above) and said “I’d rather burn these than let 2 h** b****rds go to Manchester”. After a quick check of ebay I realised these tickets are changing hands for more than £1500 a pair. I thought he was only joking, and was shocked to check my mail after lunch and see this video of him actually carrying out his threat.
If your rival team was in the final would you be so upset you would burn tickets if you had them?
Rangers are on course to win the domestic treble, with an unheard of Quadruple if Walter Smiths’ team can safely get through next Wednesday night against Dick Advocaat’s Zenit St. Petersburg.
Please note - this video was submitted by a reader, before you send us hatemail we did not burn the tickets ourselves

Also it’s probably worth mentioning that a Quadruple is by no means “unheard of” in Scotland; Celtic won all five trophies they entered in 1966-67.
