Manchester United have defeated the newly promoted League One team, Peterborough United. The match counted as a pre-season friendly game and it was played at the London Road Stadium.
Russell Martin scored an unlucky own goal in the 38th minute to send the Red Devils into the lead. Peterborough raced for the equalizer and United’s Kuszczak had to stretch for the clean-sheet.
