Manchester City obtain a hard fought qualification to the first leg of the UEFA Cup. The Citizens managed to qualify after a second leg penalty shoot-out against FC Midtjylland. The regular time ended with an 1-0 win for the visitors, while the first leg was also won with 1-0 by the away team.
