A nice Youtube compilation with the most beautiful 10 goals of the EURO 2008. According to this video, Wesley Sneijder’s superb long range goal during the group stage match is the best goal of the European tournament hosted by Austria and Switzerland.

EURO 2008 and 700 million Euros
UEFA has recently announced that their earnings during the EURO 2008 summed up an impressive sum of 1.3 billion Euros (1.300.000.000 Euros). The biggest chunk of this amount came from TV rights. This TV rights revenues covered 60% of the total income.
Another important revenue source are the marketing rights, which summed up 21% of the impressive 1.3 milliard figure.
The organization lead by Michelle Platini also announced its expenses for the European Championship organized by Austria and Switzerland. The approximative amount is 610.000.000 Euros. Read more

Pepe Reina might have missed his ideal job. The Spanish celebrations of the EURO 2008 have shown the unknown side of Liverpool’s goalkeeper Jose Manuel Reina. Pepe couldn’t step in the spotlights at the EURO 2008 as he was Aragones’ reserve keeper. Read more
European Champions go crazy in the Plane

Pepe Reina going crazy once again in the plane that takes the European Champions back to Madrid. The players cheer their coach Luis Aragones. The stewardesses dance Macarena for the EURO 2008 Champions. All this can be seen in the above Youtube video.
