France played a good football match in Sweden against the home side. It was an International friendly game ment to warm-up the two sides for the World Cup 2010 Qualifiers. France managed a deserved 3-2 win.
Sweden was the side to open the score in the 5th minute as veteran Henrik Larsson managed a superb goal. France equalized pretty fast in the 19th minute. This was also the haldtime score. Sydney Govou registered a double in the 61st and 78th minutes to offer France the away win. Read more

First Half
England manage a last second draw at the Wembley against the Czech Republic and seem a little shaken before the World Cup 2010 Qualifiers. The Czech Republic lead twice. Milan Baros opened the score in the 22nd minute. Both sides had scoring opportunities. It was a nice game to watch that ended 1-1 at the halftime after Wess Brown corner kick header. Read more

Italy have registered a surprising upset. Marcelo Lippi’s side obtained only a 2-2 home draw against Austria. More, the Austrians lead Italy with 2-0 by the 40th minute as Pogatetz and Janko scored nice goals. Gilardino managed to pull one back for Italy just before the halftime. It was Austria to score the equalizer for Italy as Ozcan managed to score an own goal. Read more

Holland had the opportunity to revenge themselves against Russia. If you remember, the Russians where the ones that eliminated a highly rated Dutch side from the EURO 2008 quarter-finals.
Robin van Persie opened the score for the away team in the 23rd minute with a superb curled shot, that gave no chance to the Russian goalkeeper. Holland continued to create important scoring opportunities, but failed to add to their lead. Read more
