Stuttgart win surprisingly against Werder Bremen in a match that counting for the 7th Bundesliga match-day. When I say surprisingly I refer to the demolishing 4-1 end result. I was also surprised by Stuttgart’s performance after their sloppy appearance in the match that preceded this encounter. Bayern Munich completed on Saturday their 3rd consecutive Bundesliga match without being able to win. Jurgen Klinsmann’s boys managed only a 3-3 draw at the Allianz Arena, against 14th ranked VFL Bochum. This comes after a series of 2 defeats against Werder Bremen and Hannover 96.
If we add that the German side managed only a 1-1 home draw in the Champions League against Olympique Lyon we can conclude that Klinsmann is not in an ideal situation at the Bavarian club. The defending Bundesliga champions are now ranking 11th in the Bundesliga. Read more

AS Roma simply can’t make it working. Spalletti’s side lost once again in the Serie A. Siena defeated them in a match counting for the 6th match-day. Frick scored the winning goal in the 45th minute. Palermo produce a huge upset and win away in Torino against big Juventus. Miccoli, de ex-Juve striker, opened the score for the visitors in the 24th minute. Del Piero scored once again from a set piece to level the score. As things where heading for a 1-1 draw, especially because Juve where playing with a player less after Sissoko’s sent off, Mchedlidze scored for Palermo’s win. Read more

Tottenham seem to go from bad to worse. The Spurs lose again in the Premier League. This time they lost all points against the surprise Hull City. The newcomers have registered today their second away win in a row. Geovanni scored the only goal of the game with a superb set piece shot.

Everton seemed to have secured the three points at the Goodison Park after Arteta’s and Fellaini’s goals. Newcastle, surprisingly, found the resources to save a point and equalized within 2 minutes.
