New England Revolution are the 2008 Superliga Champions. They defeated Houston Dynamo in the final a few hours ago. The regular time score was 1-1. The two sides headed for the extra-time, which ended 2-2. Penalties had to be shot to decided the 2008 Superliga Winners. San Jose Earthquakes send the Los Angeles Galaxy in deep problems after causing Beckham’s side another MLS defeat. Galaxy’s problems seem even bigger if we consider that the Earthquakes are ranked on the last spot of the MLS table.
The home side opened the score in the 7th minute. Alvarez scored and Huckerby doubled the Earthquakes’ lead in the 40th minute. LA Galaxy seemed to come back as Landon Donovan pulled one back in the 42nd minute from a perfect David Beckham cross. Read more

Columbus Crew obtain a very important away win against the Colorado Rapids and closed the gap on the MLS leaders, New York Revolution.
Steven Lenhart opened the score in the 21st minute. He was later rejected in the 42nd minute. This didn’t stop Columbus to score their second goal of the match. Jason Garey was registered as the goalscorer. Read more
