The quarter-finals three and four will shape the second semi-final of the EURO 2008. Today we turn back to Switzerland for the quarter-final that involves Netherlands and Russia.
It should be a great game as both sides prefer an alert passing football and their best compartments are the attacking ones. We should see many goals and lots of scoring opportunities. Germany will find out tonight their opponents in the first EURO 2008 semi-final. The way I started this article is suggestive indeed. This first half of the fixtures have pretty much established the team that will reach the final. Germany have the best chances as they will play in the winner of today’s quarter-final.

The Tivoli Neu stadium will host the most important match left in the Group D. Russia and Sweden clash in order to settle the second team of the group that will advance for the quarter-finals. Russia need a win although the two squads are tied on points at the moment. Sweden have a better goal-difference and they will be the better ranked team in case of a draw.
