Michael Essien signs another 5 year deal with Chelsea
The 25-year-old Ghana national team player has recently agreed to remain another 5 years at the Stamford Bridge. Essien has arrived at Chelsea in 2005 and has registered since then 91 appearances and scored 10 goals. Chelsea had purchased him from the French Champions Olympique Lyon.
Michael Essien plays as a midfielder for The Blues wearing shirt number 5. He is already appreciated by Chelsea’s new coach Luis Felipe Scolari who includes him on the list with the best midfielder in the world.
‘I am very happy here. We have a great team and fantastic fans who have always made me welcome’, said Michael Essien while confirming his new deal with the club.
Chelsea have also reported that they reached an agreement with their 26-year-old goalkeeper, Peter Cech. The Czech Republic national team player has also signed a new 5 year contract with the club.

Ronaldinho has delighted a 4,000 fans attendance present at AC Milan’s training camp. The Brazilian magician has managed to hit the two crossbar corners three times in a row. You can watch the skill demonstration in the above Youtube video.
Other news about Ronaldinho state that the 28-year-old has chosen number 80 to be printed on his shirt. He initially aimed for the number 10 but Clarence Seedorf refused to give it up for the 20 million euro man. Read more

Manchester United’s manager Sir. Alex Ferguson made a public statement today and mentioned Man Utd’s point of view regarding the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer debates. The 66-year-old ensured the fans from the Old Trafford that the club won’t sell the Portuguese superstar.
Ferguson added that he meet the 42-goal-man a few days ago and the two had a private conversation. The result of the talk is that the Old Trafford based club won’t sell Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester United have the player under a fem contract and only the club can allow a move towards insistent Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s earlier interviews suggested the player’s wish to switch for the Santiago Bernabeu.
