Real Madrid impressed tonight on the Mestalla. Bernd Schuster’s team won 5 - 1 in their La Liga away game against Valencia. Raul offered an early lead for his team and Real kept the lead until the end. In fact they where building up so fast that the scoreboard was showing 0 - 4 for the La Liga leaders at the half time. The second half ended with a tie 1 - 1. Ruud van Nisterlooy scored twice, Raul, Robinho and Sergio Ramos completed the night’s goal scorers list for Real. Angulo scored Valencia’s consolation goal.
Real Madrid continue to lead the La Liga standings and count 25 points now, while Valencia drop on the 5th spot, 7 points less.
